Overview
This project was for the rebranding of the CSUMB online MBA program. It started as a logo workshop before I was selected from several talented designers to continue the project as a contract designer.
First Steps
I first wrote a design brief to get an idea of the target audience, the branding values I’d be balancing, the marketing objective, and the design timeline. I then submitted a design proposal before starting design research and brainstorming.
Design Process

I sketched thumbnails of relevant concepts so I could have visual ideas to bring together. For the spirit of the workshop, I experimented in a lot of directions with both typographic and image logo designs.

This project was challenging as the workshop deadlines were very tight and there was a lot of visuals I needed to fit into the design. My circle chart concept was chosen and I continued to work on the project beyond the workshop.
I made some last options for the client at different complexities.

Stationery and Graphic Standards Guide
I designed stationery templates for letters and business cards and I handed off a graphic standards guide that would include ways to keep colors, typography, and imagery consistent across future designs.
